have a RAWdient day! Greetings and raw salutations! It's been a little while since writing so here's the updates: if you've driven by the little yellow house, you've no doubt seen some changes. most all the plants are in the ground and some new colors are coming up on the exterior! I'm deeply grateful for this work and help that is going towards beautifying the space and creating a sustainable model for us to use.
Matt is in full production of these nut milk bags! He's amazing - he's all about efficiency! He takes great delight in working better and faster. It's like a game to him. So he's greatly improved the durability and strength of these things. I've made an informative label for them and we're hoping to get them out there for people to use for juicing, sprouting and making nut milks. see my complete calendar here Tuesday, July 17th from 6-7 pm, a workshop on Angel Hair Pasta with Marinara at Hunger Mountain Coop. This recipe is literally what I ate for 2-3 weeks straight from my garden last summer. It is so fresh and delicious. Weekly Raw Food Coaching is available! This is ideal for those who wish to receive weekly raw food recipes (a food plan) plus email support. I have weekly recipes for the newbie raw fooder (or for anyone who wishes to have a raw food dietary plan mapped out for them.) You'll receive 3 recipes plus snacks each day for 7 days. Recipes plus shopping list are included as well as email support from me! Cost of weekly food plan + email support is $40.00/week. Contact me at 223-2111 or linda@vt-fiddle.com for more info or to register. Guided Customized Raw Food Challenges are also available! Please contact me for information: 223-2111 or linda@vt-fiddle.com • For all of my raw food classes (including Alissa's) I offer a free NUT MILK/SPROUTING BAG to Hunger Mountain Coop members. So mention that when you register for classes and I'll hook you up. and now for the raw food recipe Kohlrabi slaw • 5-6 good sized kohlrabi, peeled and grated Put everything in a bowl and set aside. You can substitute cabbage for kohlrabi or or include some in as extra. Purple cabbage is my favorite. • 2 lemons, peeled and de-seeded Put all ingredients in the Vita-Mix and blend for like 30 seconds. Pour the dressing over the veggies and let sit or serve immediately. Whichever. Enjoy RAWdient health! |
